案内標識

案内標識とは、地名や交差点などの行き先を案内する標識です。案内標識には、３種類あります。

まず、１つ目は、「経路案内」経路案内は目的地や通過地の方向や距離を道路上の位置を示し、目的地ま

での経路を案内してくれる標識です。

2つ目は「地点案内」地点案内は、現在地を示してくれる標識です。

3つ目は「付属案内」付属案内は、待避所やパーキングなどの付属施設を案内する標識です。

それぞれの、案内標識は、国土交通省の管轄であり、各都道府県や各高速道路に設置しています。

案内標識の基本は、

一般道路の場合、標識は青地に白字。自動車専用道路の場合は、標識は緑地に白字。

夕日の逆光によって標識が見にくくなるのを防ぐために、逆光対策標識を採用している地域もあります。

また、案内標識は、海外からの方にも分かるように、日本語とローマ字の両方で表示してあります。

地名などの固有名詞はローマ字で、山や川などの普通名詞は英語で表示しています。
